Anticipation for GREEN×EXPO 2027 Builds at “Kokusho Kokusan” Events

On Saturday, October 3, JA-ZENCHU held the “Food and Agriculture for the Future: JA Group Kokusho Kokusan Festival” at KITTE Marunouchi in Tokyo. (Kokusho Kokusan means “Consume Domestically, Produce Domestically”) The festival featured a variety of events, including the JA Youth (JA Zenseikyo) Marché and stage performances, and drew approximately 12,000 visitors, creating a lively atmosphere.

At the venue, the JA Group displayed and distributed posters and flyers announcing its participation in GREEN×EXPO 2027 (International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama, Japan), and also set up a GREEN×EXPO 2027 booth to promote the appeal of the Expo.

In addition, at the “Consume Domestically, Produce Domestically × Fair Agricultural Prices” event held on Friday, October 16, at the JA Building in Otemachi, Tokyo, the JA Group set up a GREEN×EXPO 2027 promotional corner to introduce visitors to the JA Group’s exhibits and encourage them to visit the Expo.

Through these events, many visitors came to feel more familiar with GREEN×EXPO 2027, and anticipation for the Expo grew.

There are now less than six months to go until GREEN×EXPO 2027 opens.
The JA Group, in collaboration with related organizations, will continue to widely share information about the Expo and further build excitement leading up to the opening. Stay tuned for GREEN×EXPO 2027!
